WILD RIDE TRACK CLUB RULES1. ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE RIDING TRACK ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN A LIABILITY RELEASE FORM. ALL PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 NEED A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN TO SIGN ON THEIR BEHALF. IF YOU REFUSE TO SIGN THE RELEASE YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE RIDING TRACK. 2. ALL RIDERS MUST BE SIGNED-UP(MEANING RELEASE FORM(S) AND CLUB MEMBERSHIP, BEFORE THEY RIDE(THIS APPLIES TO EVERY RIDER). IF YOU ARE CAUGHT RIDING WITHOUT REGISTERING FIRST, YOU AND YOUR BIKE, WILL LEAVE PROPERTY. 3. ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A D.O.T. APPROVED / SNELL CERTIFIED OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLE HELMET, GOGGLES/EYE PROTECTION, A LONG-SLEEVE JERSEY, RIDING GLOVES, AND BOOTS. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT RIDING WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE SAFETY GEAR YOU BECOME A SPECTATOR. WEARING ADDITIONAL GEAR, SUCH AS A CHEST PROTECTOR, KIDNEY BELT, RIDING PANTS, ETC. IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 4. ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO RIDE WELL-MAINTAINED MACHINERY. ANY BIKE, OR QUAD, THAT FAILS A RANDOM INSPECTION WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON THE TRACK. 5. INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT ON THE PART OF A RIDER, SPECTATOR, OR ANY MEMBER OF THEIR FAMILY AND / OR PIT CREW WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. VIOLATORS, AND ALL PARTIES ASSOCIATED WITH THEM, WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE OR ARRESTED. INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR INCLUDES ANY DEROGATORY, HOSTILE, OBSCENE, PORNOGRAPHIC, OR UNLAWFUL ACT THAT IS DIRECTED TOWARD A MEMBER OF OUR STAFF, A SPECTATOR, ONE OF OUR RIDERS, OR ANY OTHER GUEST. 6. NO PLAY RIDING IN THE PITS! RIDE SLOWLY AND CAUTIOUSLY TO / FROM THE TRACK (5MPH MAX.). IF YOU ARE CAUGHT PLAY RIDING OR SPEEDING IN A PARKING / PIT AREA YOU BECOME A SPECTATOR. VIOLATORS THAT INJURE SOMEONE WILL BE BANNED FROM RIDING TRACK INDEFINITELY. 7. NO ONE EXCEPT AUTHORIZED PERSONEL AND PARTICIPANTS ARE ALLOWED TO BE ON THE TRACK. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN ANY RESTRICTED AREA WITHOUT PERMISSION YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. PHOTOGRAPHERS WISHING TO HAVE IN-FIELD ACCESS TO TRACK MUST CALL 814-762-6442 AND REQUEST A PRESS PASS. 8. NO DUMPING OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED ON PROPERTY. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT ILLEGALLY HANDLING / DUMPING ANYTHING, YOU COULD FACE CRIMINAL CHARGES AND WILL BE BANNED FROM TRACK. THIS INCLUDES ALL PETROLEUM-BASED PRODUCTS (FUELS, OILS, ETC.), ANTI-FREEZE, TRASH, RV WASTE, AND OTHER ITEMS. 9. NO BONFIRES OR PYROTECHNICS (FIREWORKS) ARE PERMITTED. IF YOU VIOLATE RULE #10 YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CAMPING PRIVLEDGES AND MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE. 10. NO ROAMING DOGS ALLOWED. ALL DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ON A LEASH / MUZZLED KEPT AT TRAILER SITE AND OR CAMP SITE. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO CONTROL YOUR ANIMAL YOU SHOULD LEAVE IT AT HOME. 11. VENDING AND/OR MERCHANDISING (OF ANY KIND) WITHOUT PERMISSION IS PROHIBITED. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT SELLING ANYTHING WITHOUT A VALID PERMIT (AQUIRED FROM STAFF AT WILDRIDE CLUB)YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. ANYONE WISHING TO BECOME A WILD RIDETRACK VENDOR MUST CALL 814-762-9005 AND REQUEST A VENDING PERMIT. Race Day Rules/Fees Admission Fee: Adults $10.00 kids 10-17 $5.00 (children 6 &under free unless they are racing) (effective 1/01/09) Racing Fee: $30 all classes (effective April 1st , 2009) or $20 per class on Peewee track (effective April 1st, 2009 peewee bikes, quads, pit bikes only) Gate opens 8:00AM Signup: Starting@9:30 AM (day of race). Here are the Racing Classes ("click") that will be run. Practice Starts: 10:30 am Approx. First Moto: 12:30 p.m. Approx. No bicycle riding on track. Overnight parking is permitted (gates open at 12 noon Friday). Following are the rules that must be adhered to: 1. Campfires only in fire pits. 2. Tents in camping area only. 3. All egresses must be kept clear (so that any vehicle can exit the track without another vehicle having to be moved) No riding in the pits No engines (or generators) to be started before 9:00 am. No late practice Bike& Riding Gear Rules ("click") Additional rules for riders under 18 years old ("click") NO Insurance is provided If YOU can not afford the risk don’t take it. The documentation required (aside from the minor release procedure) is membership in our sanctioning body, The WildRide Club committee . Alternatively, if you present and "out of district card" it must be current so that we know what class to put you in. Please note that AMA membership is NOT required at WILDRIDE. NOTE: The "WRC" card is good for one racing season. Once you purchase the WRC card you will be assigned a "racing number". (or something similar to identify you). Never been to a race before? Here's how it goes: After "signing up" you will get to run a practice session soon after 10 A.M. After this is completed the races will begin. There will be a 1st half and a 2nd half set of races. You will race once in each half (for every class that you signed up to race). Machine Rules Levers must have ball ends (no broken levers) No kickstands permitted (bikes only of course) Bikes need number plates on the front and on both sides (not necessary for open practice) Any lighting lenses (headlights/taillights) must be taped over. Machine must be in good operating order Quads ===> Rider must be tethered to machine (its an automatic kill switch in the event rider and quad are abruptly separated in a getoff). Quads must also be equipped with nurf bars.(not necessary for practice) Riding Gear Rules Full face helmet Eye protection Gloves Riding Boots (work boots acceptable) Long Sleeve Shirt Knee cups that extend into/over boot Chest Protector (highly recommended) The rider's "number" must be plainly visible on his back or front and sides of machine. (not necessary for open practice) Additional Rules for Minors (Riders under 18 years old) 1. Riders under 18 years old (minors) must be in the company of their parent. 2. The parent is required to sign an additional release form for the minor at signup time. 3. The parent must be present for the entire time the minor is participating in riding events at the track. At no time can a parent leave a participating minor unattended at Wildride. 4. A parent can transfer responsibility to another adult (18 years old or older) to be responsible for the minor for the day. This can be done by having the parent write a letter that clearly grants this authority to this other adult: it must be dated, it must be notarized and it is only good for 1 day. This document must be presented to the Wildride staff at signup time and it will allow the named individual to act on behalf of the parent for the day. This individual will then be referred to on race day as the minor's "guardian". MINOR RELEASE FORM READ CAREFULLY PARENTS SIGNATURE REQUIRED BELOW MINOR RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT I/WE HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND DISCHARGE The promoter, participants, racing associations, track operator, track owner, officials, vehicle owners, riders, pit crew, sponsors owners, officers and employees. From all liability to the undersigned, my/our personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin for any and all loss or damage and any claim or any demand on account of any injury to the participant included, but not limited to death. While the minor is in or upon the restricted area and/or competing, officiating in, observing, working for or for any purpose participating in the event. I/we will inform and instruct the said minor (son or daughter) participant that upon entering any area the minor must be continuously thereafter inspect such area and all portions thereof which the minor enters and with which he or she comes in contact and I/we further warrant that the minor's entry upon such area or areas and his or her participation, if any, in the event constitutes an acknowledgement that he or she (minor), has inspected such restricted area and that he or she finds and accepts the same as being safe and reasonably suited for the purposes of his or her use, and he or she further agrees and warrants that if, at any time, he or she is in our or about property areas and if he or she feels anything is unsafe, he or she will immediately advise the officials of such and will leave the area(s). The undersigned expressly acknowledge and agree that the activities at location are very dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury(s) and/or death and/or property damage. Each of the undersigned parent(s) or legal guardian(s) for the minor participant agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless same as listed above. THE UNDERSIGNED PARENT(S) OR LEGAL GUARDIAN(S) HAVE READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGN THE MINOR RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AGREE THAT NO ORAL REPRESENTATIONS, STATEMENTS OR INDUCEMENTS APART FROM THE FOREGOING WRITTEN AGREEMENT HAVE BEEN MADE.
